Soil MB - FAQ

+ How does bacteria improve the health of soil and growth of plants?

Healthy, organically sufficient soil compacts in the hand and has a moist texture that can be molded. The bacteria works to decompose organic matter, fixate nitrogen, and reduce soil salinity. All of this is important because it creates naturally fertile soil, maximizing nutritional programs and making nutrients more readily available. Increasing the biological content of a soil’s ecosystem makes it more permeable, allowing the soil to absorb water and encourage healthy populations of microorganisms that metabolize fertilizers and nutrients that were previously unused.

+ Is Soil MB safe for organic food production?

Yes! Our microbial products are used for organic food production on farms throughout North America and Latin America.

+ Is Soil MB a fertilizer?

A common misconception, Soil MB is NOT a fertilizer. It is a biological soil conditioner that works by metabolizing organic matter and minerals in your farm’s fields. Our innovative microbial products makes more food and nutrients available to your plants, which in turn increases the fertility of the soil.

+ How does Soil MB work to reduce the effects of soil salinity?

Soil MB relies on two different mechanisms to reduce the effects of salts in soil, which leads to soil salinity. The first occurs rapidly and the second more gradually, reducing the actual salinity of your top soil over time. We encourage you to contact Soil MicroBiotics for a more detailed explanation of how our products reduces soil salinity.

+ How much Soil MB product should I use?

Use 1 to 2 gallons per acre for the initiation of replenishing your soil microbes the first growing season and water it into the soil at a 50 to 70% saturation 10 days prior to planting. Please refer to our application guidelines for crop specific suggestions.

+ Can I use too much Soil MB?

No. In fact, we have had customers with problem areas use Soil MB at 5 times the recommended rate on a weekly basis to remediate challenging soil conditions.

+ How will I know when I can stop using Soil MB?

Once a healthy bacterial base of active microorganisms within the soil has been established, you may be able to reduce your application of Soil MB.

+ Is Soil MB toxic or dangerous?

No. Our microbial products are not toxic or dangerous, nor do they require any special licenses or hazardous materials handling procedures or equipment to use. This product will not corrode surfaces or react chemically.

+ Is Soil MB Organic?

Yes, Soil MB is 100% organic and is composed of water, bacteria, fungi, archaea, and algae.

+ Why do you recommend reducing my existing nutrient program by 30%?

Soil MB helps break down fertilizers, phosphorous, and fixates nitrogen to make nutrients more readily available. As a result of absorbing nutrients more efficiently, plants require less, reducing cost for growers.

Green MB - FAQ

+ What is the shelf life of Green Microbiotics?

Green Microbiotics organisms are dormant in there original packaging. When stored properly they will remain viable beyond 10 years.

+ How should I store the product?

Proper handling of Green Microbiotics is important. Product should be stored in its original container with the lid secure. Store out of direct sunlight and do not expose to extreme heat (over 110 degrees F) and do not allow to freeze.

+ Can I use the same nutrient program in addition to Green Microbitotics?

Yes. Green Microbiotics is compatible with any nutrient line: however, we recommend that you do not mix fungicides and or pesticides directly with the diluted solution of Green Microbiotics. You can use these, just use them separately.

+ Can I use too much Green Microbiotics on my plants?

Yes, utilizing too many microbes will not harm your plants but overuse is not recommended for optimal growth. Our microbes break down nutrients and make them readily available for consumption by the plants so there is a recommended application rate and should be followed correctly.

+ How much increase in yield can I expect to get using Green Microbiotics?

There have been many tests done and depending on the strain of plant you are growing the increases vary. We see a range from 20% up to 50% increases in yield of clean and dried product.

No, larger amounts of water because of dry, hot climates would be too much product going into the soil or medium. We recommend only using 12 to 16 ml per plant per day and no more.

+ Does the hard water water impact the viability of Green Microbiotics on my plants?

Hard water has high amounts of calcium in it. Calcium has to be broken down or will be harmful to the medium and the plants. Green Microbiotics helps the break down calcium and makes it more readily available for plant uptake.

CLean MB - FAQ

+ What is the shelf life of Clean Microbiotics?

Clean Microbiotics organisms are dormant in there original packaging. When stored properly they will remain viable beyond 10 years.

+ How should I store the product?

Proper handling of Clean Microbiotics is important. Product should be stored in its original container with the lid secure. Store out of direct sunlight and do not expose to extreme heat (over 110 degrees F) and do not allow to freeze.

+ What is Clean Microbiotics and what is in it that cleans the environment up?

Clean Microbiotics is a unique blend of naturally cultured microorganisms consisting of bacteria, archaea, algae and fungi capable of breaking down carbon based and hazardous chemicals that are both chain and aromatic in nature.

+ Can Clean Microbiotics eliminate the standard dig and haul method of remediation?

Clean Microbiotics can eliminate the “dig and haul” method of environmental remediation for surface spills or contamination down to three feet. It has an excellent track record of cleaning contaminated sites to acceptable state levels and non detect.

+ Is Clean Microbiotics a chemical?

No, Clean Microbiotics is made up of microorganisms in water and is safe for all environments.

+ What does the Clean Surfactant do when mixed with Clean Microbiotics?

Clean Surfactant helps to break the long-chain hydrocarbon bond to speed up the process of degrading the hydrocarbons in soils and waterways

+ If I have a environmental spill, how do I know if bioremediation will work to clean it up?

We have experts on staff that can assist with assessing the specific spill and we also have a degrading compounds list that can be used as a reference on the website.

+ Does Clean Microbiotics work on diesel and gasoline spills as well?

Yes diesel and gasoline are forms of hydrocarbons and Clean Microbiotics works very effectively on degrading these compounds.
